In addition, our test teams have a track-record of automating software tests using off-the-shelf and custom-design automation solutions. Our teams have done extensive testing of embedded firmware and are capable of performing White-box tests for products which do not have external access or monitoring points. In these cases, firmware is tested with the use of an in-circuit emulator or simulator provided by client.

Software Test Documentation
Our test engineers routinely develop software Test Plans and software Test Case Specifications based on clients’ Software Design Description (SDD), Functional Specification, Software Requirements Specification (SRS), and Intended Use Requirements Specifications (IURS). Our test engineers are experienced in traceability and gap analysis to ensure that all software requirements are traced to a test case.
We have experience developing FDA compliant (21 CFR Part 11) software verification and validation (V&V) protocols for medical devices. In addition, our teams have the required skills and insight to help you meet IEC 60601 and BS EN 62304 standards which are mandatory requirements to sell medical devices in Europe. Our team leaders participate in risk analsysis (ISO 14971) meetings with client company to ensure that those software features which are supposed to mitigate risks are adequately tested and documented.
Defect Management
Associated with test execution is effective defect management. Our test teams have experience using bug tracking software such as Jira, Test Track Pro, BugZilla, Remedy, and requirements management tools such as Requisite Pro, Doors, and HP Quality Center.
